Main Responsibilities

As a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer at WGM Engineering Ltd, you will be responsible for providing management support on projects across the business, developing initial client concepts or requirements into workable solutions. This will involve liaising with internal and external clients to identify their exact requirements, attending site-based surveys to understand project needs, and managing detailed design tasks to client stage gate and approval specifications.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of design experience in a mechanical engineering or construction environment
  • Strong background in mechanical design and good understanding of the water or wastewater sector
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders
