About the Role

Medsolve is proud to support a top care home provider based in the North East of England who are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse to work in their care home based in Chester le Street.

Job Summary

This is a permanent Day Shift role (33 to 44 hours pw) with a salary of 23.00ph. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for leading, supervising, and training the care team, as well as performing general nursing duties, ordering, storing, and administering medication, and maintaining precise and up-to-date records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the care team to ensure high-quality care is delivered.
  • Perform general nursing duties, including administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
  • Order and store medication, and ensure its safe administration.
  • Maintain the dignity and respect of clients at all times.
  • Achieve the highest possible standard of care through direct nursing care and effective supervision of staff.
  • Take management responsibility for shift as directed.
About You

We are looking for a passionate and well-organized Registered Nurse who is a first-level nurse (RMN/RGN/RNLD) with a current PIN. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and make effective decisions while working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. You should be up to date with current evidence-based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations. You will also need to be registered with the NMC and have a satisfactory DBS.
