Opportunity Summary:
The Private Client Advice (PCA) division is dedicated to assessing client aspirations, risk tolerance, current investment methodologies, and frameworks to propose appropriate asset allocation and benchmark suggestions. This group delivers regulated financial guidance regarding the appropriateness of pension transitions, bond liquidations, investment taxation, Inheritance Tax Planning, and Lifetime Allowance considerations.
As a PCA Associate, your role will involve supporting team members, Analysts, Tied Agents, and Investment Counsellors in delivering regulated and appropriate advice to both prospective and current clients of Fisher Investments Europe. You will gain insights into utilizing data to inform your recommendations. You will report directly to your Team Leader, who will assist in your professional growth and training.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Draft and structure written proposals by gathering client data, utilizing information from external vendors, and performing analyses based on existing assets, including running portfolio simulations.
- Conduct tax wrapper evaluations for bond liquidations, gather essential information from pension and investment bond providers, and prepare necessary transfer or liquidation documentation.
- Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure seamless case transitions.
- Engage in ad hoc group initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
- Utilize MS Access, Word, Excel (executing complex functions), and Adobe to tailor proposals and generate comprehensive reports.
Candidate Qualifications:
- A University degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with financial planning and investment principles or relevant industry certifications is preferred.
- Ability to produce high-quality work within designated timelines.
- Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, collaborative environment to support high-volume output.
