As a key member of the culinary training team, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the Training Kitchens, ensuring they meet the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain High Standards of Cleanliness: Ensure the Training Kitchens, including work surfaces, equipment, and utensils, are kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Support Chef Lecturers: Assist with tasks in the Training Kitchens as required, working closely with Chef Lecturers to ensure the smooth operation of culinary training programs.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the Training Kitchens comply with current Health and Safety regulations, including the effective disposal of waste materials.
  • Food Deliveries and Stock Management: Receive food deliveries, ensuring they meet required specifications, and maintain accurate records of orders, stock items, and refrigeration and freezer unit temperatures.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with staff across the College to ensure smooth operations and participate in Professional Development Planning.

This is a temporary position, covering sickness leave, and we are looking for someone who can commit to a 35-hour week, Monday to Friday. If you have a passion for hospitality and catering, and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, please apply.
