Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to maintain visual and microbiological hygiene standards.
- Identify and report any hygiene issues or concerns.
- Ensure proper labeling and securing of chemical containers to prevent accidents and contamination.
- Follow established hygiene, food safety, quality, and health and safety procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Achieve a high level of cleanliness and complete tasks efficiently to meet production deadlines.
- Operate cleaning equipment during deep cleans to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
- Handle chemicals according to COSHH regulations to prevent exposure and ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness in both operational and non-operational areas to prevent contamination and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential.
- Ability to work methodically and under pressure to meet production deadlines.
- Ability to work in hot environments and deal with pest control measures.
