Senior Project Engineer - Solar PV & BESS

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team at JD Ross Energy. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise across all phases of an asset lifecycle from acquisition through to commercial operations of a portfolio of projects.
  • Manage design processes to support planning, including pre-planning assessments of PV and BESS construction feasibility.
  • Design and engineering management, including working with EPX, ICP contractors, and OEMs.
  • Collaborate with a multidiscipline team of technical, commercial, and legal participants.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and codes around utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to deliver projects to the highest level.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in utility-scale renewable energy projects, with a focus on Solar PV and BESS.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of regulations and codes around utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects.
