Cygnet Hospital Maidstone is a modern, 63-bed facility designed to provide comprehensive mental health services for adults. It adheres to the latest national standards for therapeutic environments, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for patients.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Psychologist will play a crucial role in:

  • Supporting the Qualified Psychologist in implementing and assessing psychological interventions.
  • Conducting psychometric assessments and standardized risk evaluations.
  • Assisting in clinical formulation and providing supervised individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development through clinical supervision and training opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong background in Psychology, ideally with a relevant degree.
  • Postgraduate training in applied psychology or mental health.
  • Experience in mental health services, particularly in roles similar to Assistant Psychologist.
  • A commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively within a team.
