Behavioural Psychology Support Specialist

We are seeking a passionate graduate with a strong passion for helping students manage their behaviour and support them with their mental health and well-being. As a Behavioural Psychology Support Specialist, you will work closely with psychological professionals to support students and influence decisions based on your support of students' behaviour.

This role is perfect for Psychology graduates who want to gain a full academic year's worth of experience with behavioural psychology. You will have the opportunity to liaise with psychological professionals, support therapists and psychologists, and act as a mentor and guidance counsellor to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Liaising with psychological professionals to support students
  2. Supporting therapists and psychologists in their work, shadowing their support
  3. Acting as a mentor and guidance counsellor to students
  4. Writing reports based on students' SEMH progress
  5. Managing student behaviour using your psychological knowledge

Requirements:

  1. Experience as a Teaching Assistant
  2. Strong passion for working with students on their academia and mental health
  3. Enthusiasm and creativity to inspire children with learning
  4. The ability to write cogently and fluently with correct spelling and punctuation
  5. Patience, kindness, flexibility, good humour and the ability to work as part of a team
  6. Professional attitude and approach to work
