The Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital offers a unique opportunity for a Senior Paediatric Radiographer to specialise in Paediatric Imaging, supported by an experienced team. Our hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality care to children and young people, and we are committed to delivering a safe and effective imaging service.
Main Duties- Deliver high-quality imaging examinations for paediatric patients, using a variety of radiography equipment including plain film and fluoroscopy.
- Develop expertise in fluoroscopy, preparing equipment and patients for examinations, and providing clear information to parents and carers.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of paediatric pathology and clinical presentation to ensure accurate imaging examinations.
- Liaise with Paediatric Consultant Radiologists and Advanced Practitioners to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide a safe and effective imaging service.
- Extensive experience working as a Radiographer, with evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- HCPC registration and a commitment to maintaining professional standards.
- Experience of working with paediatrics and a strong understanding of paediatric imaging.
