About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sustainability Team at a leading organization in the oil and gas industry while completing the Level 3 Junior Energy Manager Apprenticeship. This role is a two-year fixed-term contract.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team of energy and sustainability professionals, contributing to the development of strategies and initiatives to reduce the organization's carbon footprint.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, analyze, and report energy data, presenting findings in a clear and attractive format.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of plans to improve the organization's energy efficiency and reduce its carbon footprint.
  • Conduct internal energy audits, surveys, and checks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Review and update policies and practices in light of new or changing regulations, best practices, and industry standards.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 GCSEs at grades A* to C (including Mathematics & English).
  • Level 3 Junior Energy Manager apprenticeship.

  • Creative and innovative thinker and problem-solver.
  • Ability to work and make informed decisions with minimal supervision.
