The Infrastructure Adoption Engineer is essential in facilitating the successful adoption of roads, drainage systems, pumping stations, and public green spaces within our projects. Reporting directly to the Technical Director, this role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Supervising and directing construction activities related to roads, drainage, and pathways
  • Ensuring adherence to adoption standards for diverse infrastructure components
  • Collaborating with local authorities, water service providers, and environmental organizations
  • Developing adoption plans utilizing AutoCAD software
  • Offering technical support to internal teams and colleagues

The ideal candidate will possess a background in construction or housebuilding, along with the necessary qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Adoption Engineer
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CAD software and civil engineering applications
  • Understanding of regulatory standards and design specifications
  • HNC/HND in a construction-related discipline
  • CSCS card or equivalent certification
  • Exceptional attention to detail and communication abilities
