Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Information Management Specialist to join our team. As an Information Management Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering the information management discipline for client projects and programmes. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient information management and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute information management functions to defined strategies, plans, and processes, in line with industry standards.
  • Ensure that documents and project artefacts are properly labelled, filled, and stored.
  • Develop and implement processes described within ISO 19650, including information production and assurance for digital delivery.
  • Contribute to the setup, implementation, and development of the common data environment (CDE).
  • Support and guide project colleagues in information management practices and processes.
  • Assure and quality control of documents and artefacts submitted and stored.
  • Contribute to the global digital centre of excellence, including the body of knowledge, processes, and case studies.
  • Coordinate activities to ensure successful project delivery and management.

Requirements

  • Some experience in information management from one or more projects and programmes.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work with different stakeholders.
  • Disciplined, methodical, and organized approach.
  • Effective team member and ability to help and train others.
  • Able to work independently.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with information architecture, naming, numbering, and filing conventions.
  • Working towards technical qualifications and certifications, such as APM IM or equivalent.
  • Experience with software, such as Aconex or SharePoint.
  • Construction, property, and real estate industry experience.
  • Security, cyber security, and data protection awareness.
  • Experience working in an international setting, either remotely or outside the UK.
  • ISO 19650 series and UK BIM framework knowledge.
  • Subject expert experience in key IM software, including Aconex, ViewPoint, or Business Collaborator.
