Team Leader - Residential Home for Older Adults with Dementia

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Team Leader to join our team at a well-established residential home in central Coventry, dedicated to providing exceptional care for older adults with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report Writing: Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive reports to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Behaviour Management: Support residents with dementia or challenging behaviours, using positive behaviour management techniques to promote a safe and respectful environment.
  • Pay reviews and bonuses: Participate in pay reviews and contribute to the development of a fair and rewarding remuneration package.
  • Staff development: Lead by example and support the development of a skilled and motivated team.
Requirements:
  • Calm yet resilient: Demonstrate a calm and composed approach, even in challenging situations.
  • Compassionate and organised: Show empathy and understanding towards residents and their families, while maintaining a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
