Position Overview:
Our esteemed client is in search of a Manufacturing Technician to assist their distinguished Defence partner. This role will be based at a key site, where the technician will be responsible for ensuring product certification and utilizing various tools, equipment, and measuring instruments to produce, repair, and modify products in accordance with established build standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture, test, and inspect products in line with certification protocols, project goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with product certification through regular audits and maintain high standards of workmanship and product quality.
- Utilize a diverse skill set across multiple tasks, being proficient with all necessary tools and equipment associated with the manufacturing process.
- Adhere to all relevant procedures and apply essential skills across various tasks related to the production, repair, and modification of products.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an Approved Apprenticeship or equivalent vocational training.
- Experience in a Manufacturing or Craftsman role.
- ESD training and willingness to undergo Live Build training (provided).
Benefits:
Eligible candidates may receive accommodation support of up to £1,600 per month if residing beyond a specified distance from the site. This role is exclusively available to UK nationals and citizens.
Security Requirements:
Applicants must be British Citizens or Dual UK nationals with British citizenship. Successful candidates will be required to undergo security checks managed by the client's Security Team.
