About the Role

Moss Healthcare Harrogate is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Associate to join our team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and monitor care to patients in a range of settings, including their place of residence.
  • Work with a mentor to develop your clinical competence, leadership, and reflective practice skills.
  • Take responsibility for delivering care independently, within the parameters of the Nursing Associate role, and accessing clinical and care advice when required.
  • Signpost patients to other appropriate services or professionals as needed, having an awareness of available support and services across healthcare providers.
  • Ensure only clinical tasks for which you have achieved competence are undertaken without supervision, and recognize the impact and consequences of practicing outside your capability.
  • Perform and record clinical observations, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse oximetry.
  • Adhere to legislation, policies, procedures, and guidelines, both local and national, and regularly attend workplace and staff engagement meetings.
