Primary Care Nursing Associate

The Nursing Associate will work closely with our Nurse Team at East Parade Surgery, providing essential support to enable registered nurses to focus on complex clinical care. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities- Support registered nurses in their daily tasks, allowing them to concentrate on complex clinical care.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in reflective practice and clinical supervision activities to enhance professional development.
- Contribute to the development of the nursing team and the organization as a whole.
- Registered Nursing Associate and on the NMC register.
- Experience of working in a primary care environment.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player under appropriate supervision.
- Understanding of the scope of the role of the nursing associate in the context of the nursing and interdisciplinary team.
- Intermediate IT skills.
- Ability to communicate with members of the public and health and care providers.
- Spirometry.
- Ear syringing.
- Flexibility to work outside of core office hours.
- Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Occupational Health clearance.
- Meet the requirements and produce evidence for nurse revalidation.
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) commensurate with the role of a Nurse Associate.
