Care Coordinator

A dynamic and rewarding role has become available for a skilled Care Co-ordinator to join our team at a leading residential care home in the Woodbridge, Suffolk area. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care services to our residents, promoting independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with the care team to maintain the personal care of residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Ensure that care services are consistently provided to a high standard, adhering to regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Assist in the care of the resident's physical environment, including the general day-to-day activities of the home.
- Take on responsibility for the running of the home and the wellbeing of staff and residents in the absence of the home's Manager.
- Organise shifts, administer and record medication, liaise with health professionals, and maintain accurate records of resident care plans.
- Support the induction, training, and supervision of support staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Assist residents with limited mobility or physical/learning difficulties, making the best use of mobility aids and personal equipment provided.
- Experience of supervising a care team, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care services.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding of the needs of residents, with a focus on promoting independence and dignity.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and external partners.
- Able to demonstrate a can-do attitude, with a commitment to delivering exceptional care services.
- An excellent salary of £15.00 per hour, with an annual salary of £28,080 per annum.
