Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Tenancy Support Officer. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the Council achieves its vision and business objectives by providing effective tenancy-related support to vulnerable customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide targeted advice and assistance to vulnerable tenants and leaseholders to enable them to sustain their tenancies and live independently.
  • Deliver an effective and appropriate service to all service users, ensuring fairness and non-discrimination.
  • Contribute to the development of improvement plans that meet the diverse needs, requirements, and aspirations of customers.
  • Act as an ambassador of the Council, displaying a professional and responsible attitude at all times.
  • Support a value for money culture that delivers continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in delivering a high-quality housing service, supporting positive outcomes for vulnerable residents.
  • Experience in working intensively with vulnerable people within a social or supported housing setting.
  • Experience of working with people with mental health difficulties, substance abuse difficulties, and offending history.
