Job Title: Outdoor Activity Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outdoor Activity Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Ultimate Survival program, you will be responsible for delivering a range of bushcraft and outdoor activities, leading a team of instructors, and ensuring the overall success of the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver engaging outdoor activities for children aged 7-14, focusing on participation, skill development, and enjoyment.
  • Manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality activities and exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with host schools, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and other relevant policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of new activities and programs, and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in outdoor education, with a focus on bushcraft and working with children.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Good working knowledge of Ultimate Survival activities and programs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
