Document Controller

Join the Port of Dover team as a Document Controller, responsible for managing all aspects of document control for the Engineering function. This role is a key part of the Asset Management Team, ensuring the smooth operation of the port's assets.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage document and record governance within the document management system and asset management maintenance system.
- Provide tactical day-to-day oversight to facilitate the collation and handover of documentation data in approved format.
- Play an integral part in project delivery, handover, and maintenance of operational documentation.
- Set up and manage workflows, statuses, owners, and reviews of documentation.
- Ensure compliance activities are carried out for documentation as needed.
- GCSEs Grade 4 or above to include Maths and English.
- Extensive document control experience, managing documentation from project inception through every stage of an asset's life cycle.
- Experience of working with and managing Document Management Systems.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications to include: Word, Excel (formulas and macros) and Outlook.
- Good working knowledge of MS Power query for automation of routine data tasks and problem solving or a demonstrable ability to learn Power Query.
- Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle.
