About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Assystem Energy & Infrastructure in Derby. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-integrity components to tight engineering tolerances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture components using hand tools, torque wrenches, and measuring equipment.
  • Operate overhead cranes and manipulation equipment to handle components.
  • Interpret manufacturing drawings, customer specifications, and written instructions.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Fabrication Team to ensure efficient and effective production.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication or equivalent qualification.
  • Recognized engineering apprenticeship or relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Excellent time management and resource allocation skills.
  • Flexible and willing to take on additional tasks and responsibilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Security Clearance

This role requires a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats. The successful candidate must be a UK national or hold a MoD-approved clearance.
