Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Assystem Energy & Infrastructure in Derby. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-integrity components to tight engineering tolerances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture components of varying sizes using hand tools, torque wrenches, and measuring equipment.
  • Operate overhead cranes and manipulation equipment to assemble and fabricate components.
  • Interpret technical drawings and work instructions to ensure accurate manufacturing.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Fabrication Team to achieve production goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 - Fabrication (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Recognized engineering apprenticeship or relevant experience.
  • Excellent understanding of technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Security Clearance

This role requires a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. The successful candidate must be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
