Associate Director of Nursing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Nursing to join our team at Newham Hospital. As a key member of the site Nursing Board, you will work closely with the Divisional Director and Director of Nursing to develop and implement trust-wide objectives to deliver evidence-based standards and improve patient care and experience.
Main Responsibilities- Assure professional standards and practice in all aspects of nursing/midwifery and AHP's practice are achieved within divisions, including adherence to statutory regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and experience, working closely with the Divisional Director and Director of Nursing.
- Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of patient care services.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- First-level registered nurse/midwife qualification.
- Evidence of postgraduate education in a specialty field.
- Significant experience of working in a senior nursing role, with managerial responsibilities and operational healthcare experience in an acute setting.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop workable solutions.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
