We are seeking a Senior Consultant in Acute Medicine to enhance our team at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. This role is a permanent opportunity within the Acute Medical Unit (AMU).
The AMU provides a vibrant setting where consultants collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including specialist registrars, advanced clinical practitioners, physician associates, and nursing professionals. As a Senior Consultant in the AMU, your primary responsibility will be to conduct timely assessments of patients across various units, including the acute assessment unit and short stay ward.
Key responsibilities include engaging in the education and training of junior staff and participating in clinical governance and audit initiatives. There is also the possibility to develop specialist interests with designated sessions.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough and prompt assessments of patients in the AMU
