Neurologist Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Neurologist to join our Neurology team at the West Suffolk Hospital.
The successful candidate will work closely with our existing Neurologists, CNS's, ward staff, and community teams to deliver high-quality neurological care. The day-to-day work will be located at the West Suffolk Hospital, supported by our excellent integrated CNS team.
The appointee will be responsible for providing a Neurology service to the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, including professional supervision and management of junior medical staff.
We are a busy, friendly, rural NHS Trust providing high-quality care and compassion to over a quarter of a million people across west Suffolk. Our hospital provides acute and secondary care services, including emergency department, maternity and neonatal services, day surgery unit, eye treatment centre, Macmillan unit, and children's ward.
The Neurology Department at the West Suffolk Hospital currently comprises four consultants, with a further day of Neurology provided by a Consultant, Dr Ed Needham, one day a week. In addition, we have a team of neurology disability nurses, Parkinson's Disease Nurses, and Epilepsy Specialist nurses.
