Property Maintenance Manager

PDA Search and Selection Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Property Maintenance Manager to join their team in Carlisle. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a substantial number of properties across the country, ensuring costs are within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Preventative Maintenance: Plan and implement preventative maintenance for all properties owned/leased by the company.
- Technical Reporting: Produce technical reports following building surveys for planned/reactive maintenance.
- Contractor Management: Find and manage contractors for maintenance work, ensuring all work is completed to the expected standards.
- Financial Management: Monitor and control financial approvals, ensuring all invoices are accurate and up-to-date.
- Communication: Communicate with consultants and landlords to ensure building regulations are met and project requirements are delivered effectively.
- Emergency Cover: Be available outside of office hours for emergency cover.
- Experience: Previous experience in surveying, building, and construction is preferred but not essential.
- Property Maintenance: Essential experience in property maintenance is required.
- Flexibility: A high degree of flexibility to travel where required is necessary.
- Training: The successful candidate must be willing to undertake further training for continued development.
- Health & Safety: Understanding of Health & Safety, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements is essential.
