This position will lay a robust groundwork for your career in quantity surveying and contract oversight. You will play a vital role in assisting the team with the management and execution of high-value contracts.

As an Assistant Project Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting contract management across various services including repairs, maintenance, voids, compliance, and construction projects.
  • Conducting financial audits of contractor invoices and ensuring valuation accuracy.
  • Assisting in drafting specifications and sourcing competitive quotes for works and services.
  • Gaining valuable experience in budget oversight, contributing to the management of both capital and revenue budgets to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and financial regulations.

To thrive in this role, you should be committed to pursuing a BSc in Quantity Surveying. Familiarity with standard IT software applications, particularly Microsoft Office and Teams, is essential. Experience in a housing maintenance or commercial setting will be advantageous.
