We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at University Hospital Plymouth NHS Foundation Trust. As an ICU nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialized care to patients in the ICU, including assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and technologies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 3 years.
- Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
- Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
