About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at University Hospital Plymouth NHS Foundation Trust.

As an ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients who require constant monitoring and complex medical interventions.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

With a strong focus on patient safety and quality care, you will be expected to maintain accurate records, adhere to NMC guidelines, and participate in regular mandatory training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to NMC guidelines
  • Participate in regular mandatory training
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 3 years
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
  • Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
