Oracle Functional Analyst

Job Summary

Lorien is seeking an experienced Oracle Functional Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work on a Supply Chain Finance project, designing, building, testing, and deploying new integrations, enhancements, reports, and configurations in Oracle Financials to enable the implementation of Supply Chain Finance/Dynamic Discounting functionality with a chosen 3rd party provider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review business requirements and gather system configuration inputs to ensure seamless integration.
  • Assess existing supplier master setup, AP invoicing/payments process, and AP/AR netting process to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop detailed BR100/config documents for new configuration and enhancement requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Create functional specifications (MD050) for new integrations, enhancements, and reports, and support build and test to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Configure DEV and TEST instances, testing base configuration and system flows to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support SIT and UAT, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting to ensure successful project completion.
  • Develop cutover documents and support Prod deployment, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provide post-go-live support, addressing any issues that may arise and ensuring ongoing system stability.

Requirements

  • Detailed understanding and experience of configuring Oracle Financials (R12.1.3 and R AP, AR, Payments, and CM modules).
  • Proven expertise in creating BR100 documents, building custom integrations, enhancements, reports, and functional specifications.
  • Experience in creating and executing system test scenarios, ensuring thorough testing and validation.
  • Knowledge of standard transaction flows and business processes for the modules in scope, as well as Oracle data model and running database queries for in-scope modules.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with multiple teams and engage with business stakeholders to ensure project success.
