We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing a clinical pharmacy service to patients, working closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a clinical pharmacy service directly to patients, including medicine reconciliation, medication reviews, and assessing patients' ability to manage their medicines.
  • Work collaboratively with GP practice staff, multidisciplinary teams, and other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive pharmacy service.
  • Contribute to the education, training, and development of pharmacy staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy services, including the design and delivery of patient care programs.
Requirements:
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician or pre-registration Pharmacy Technician nearing qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
