Job Title: Senior Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team in North East Fife. As a Senior Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering a clinical pharmacy service to our GP practices, working closely with our existing team of Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Support Workers, and GP Practice Clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a clinical pharmacy service to our GP practices, including medicines reconciliation, review of discharge and outpatient letters, acute, repeat and serial prescription requests, and answering medication-related queries.
  • Undertake prescribing audits and medication cost efficiency projects to ensure the highest quality pharmaceutical care for our patients.
  • Work closely with our team to provide excellent patient care and support, utilizing your clinical knowledge and expertise to make a positive impact.
Requirements:
  • Registration with the GPhC with a proven track record of post-registration experience within Primary Care.
  • Clinical knowledge and expertise in providing excellent patient care.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and precision in your work, with an accuracy checking qualification.
  • Ability to travel efficiently and safely across the areas to meet the operational requirements of the service.

Please note that this post is based within St Andrews Community Hospital, but you will be working across a number of different GP practices within North East Fife. The ability to travel is therefore essential.
