Job Title: Ledger Team Supervisor

At SF Recruitment, we are seeking an experienced Ledger Team Supervisor to join our team in Warwick. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supervising the completion of daily work, providing guidance and support to the Ledger Team, and ensuring the smooth operation of our purchase ledger and sales ledger functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and supervise the completion of daily work, providing guidance and support to the Ledger Team and their operational needs.
  • Support and develop the Ledger Team, ensuring they have the necessary training and development tools to excel in their roles.
  • Plan, allocate, and support the workloads amongst the Ledger Team in accordance with finance deadlines.
  • Support Ledger Team members with any queries or problems, identifying solutions and supporting the resolution of any such matters.
  • Ensure that Ledger Team members access and complete appropriate training and development tools.
Financial Operations:
  • Ensure purchase invoices and expenses are captured, coded, and checked correctly.
  • Ensure purchase invoices and expenses and payments are correctly entered onto Access Dimensions or similar systems in a timely manner.
  • Ensure Supplier payments are posted to PL and allocated to the correct Supplier Accounts.
  • Initiate Supplier payments (by Online Banking) - Effective usage of Filters/System Tools.
  • Ensure Supplier and expense payments posted to PL and allocated correctly to Supplier Accounts.
  • Ensure Supplier statements are fully checked and reconciled to the PL.
  • Ensure Supplier details are up to date and correct on the PL.
  • Deal with Supplier invoice enquiries.

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in purchase ledger and sales ledger team management. If you have purchase ledger management experience, this will be satisfactory as training can be given.
