About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ledger Team Leader to join our team at EA First Ltd. This is a permanent role that offers a competitive salary of £37,500 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of purchase ledger and banking for the organization, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Assist in capturing and verifying purchase invoices and expenses, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Code and check purchase invoices and expenses, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Enter purchase invoices and expenses into Access Dimensions or similar systems, maintaining accurate records.
  • Initiate supplier payments (by BACS) using effective filters and system tools.
  • Post supplier and expense payments to Access Dimensions and allocate, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Check and reconcile supplier statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Ensure supplier details are up-to-date and correct, maintaining a high level of data accuracy.
  • Deal with supplier and invoice enquiries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Support the Treasurer with queries and provide financial guidance as needed.
  • Be responsible for audit enquiries relating to Purchase Ledger, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Raise and issue sales invoices for rechargeable expenditure via Access Dimensions.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies and ensure all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Mentor and delegate responsibilities to the Ledger Team, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience working within a previous or current purchase ledger role is essential.
  • AAT qualified or qualified by experience, with a strong understanding of financial regulations.
  • Access Dimensions systems experience is critical, with the ability to navigate and utilize the system effectively.
  • Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex financial issues.
  • Strong organizational skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to manage workload and meet strict monthly deadlines, with a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • A positive role model of professional practice and conduct, with the ability to mentor and guide others.
