Job Title: 2nd Line Support Engineer

Job Summary:

Jago Consultants is seeking an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our team. As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing IT services to our clients across the UK. You will work closely with our clients to resolve technical issues, install and implement IT solutions, and provide proactive and reactive IT assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and Implement IT Solutions: You will be responsible for installing and implementing IT solutions and services for our clients. This includes configuring and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Provide Proactive and Reactive IT Assistance: You will provide proactive and reactive IT assistance to our clients, including remote and on-site support. You will work closely with our clients to resolve technical issues and provide solutions to improve their IT infrastructure.
  • Write Internal and Customer Documentation: You will be responsible for writing internal and customer documentation as required. This includes creating user guides, technical notes, and other documentation to support our clients.
  • Liaise with Customers and Suppliers: You will liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve technical issues and provide solutions to improve their IT infrastructure. You will also be responsible for escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Log and Resolve IT Issues: You will be responsible for logging and resolving IT issues within the Service Level Agreement (SLA). You will work closely with our clients to resolve technical issues and provide solutions to improve their IT infrastructure.
  • Out of Hours IT Support: You will be responsible for providing out-of-hours IT support for critical issues. You will work closely with our clients to resolve technical issues and provide solutions to improve their IT infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving License: You must have a full UK driving license.
  • Experience using Active Directory: You must have experience using Active Directory.
  • Knowledge in Windows Operating Systems: You must have knowledge in Windows Operating Systems.
  • 2/3 Years in a Similar Role: You must have 2/3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in vSphere, ESXi, Office 365 Networking/LAN, Mitel, 3CX Hotel PMS & POS Systems: Experience in vSphere, ESXi, Office 365 networking/LAN, Mitel, 3CX Hotel PMS & POS Systems is not essential but desirable.
  • Flexible: You must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
