We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at NHS Professionals. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and conducting diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake routine and complex clinical caseloads in general audiology without supervision.
- Carry out all routine aspects of diagnostic and rehabilitative adult and some pediatric audiology, while also becoming involved in advanced techniques and procedures.
- Formulate individualized care plans for patients with hearing difficulties, working with inpatients and outpatients in acute, community, and domiciliary environments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, reassuring them and making them feel valued, heard, and understood.
- Manage a caseload of patients and be a member of a multidisciplinary team within the audiology service.
- BSc in Audiology.
- Registration with the relevant registration body (RCCP and/or HCPC).
- MSc in Audiology with competency certificate.
- Demonstrable postgraduate clinical experience in balance assessment and general audiology.
