Position Overview:
The National Skills Agency is seeking a dedicated Passenger Transport Education Specialist. In this role, you will be instrumental in mentoring and guiding apprentices pursuing the Customer Service/Passenger Transport Operative Level 2 qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery: Develop and conduct engaging training sessions that meet the standards of the Customer Service/Passenger Transport Operative Level 2 qualification.
  • Curriculum Development: Work collaboratively with curriculum teams to refine and enhance training materials, ensuring they are current and relevant.
  • Progress Monitoring: Closely track apprentices' development, identifying areas needing improvement and implementing strategies to support their ongoing growth.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain precise documentation of apprentices' performance, assessment results, and training activities, in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
  • Industry Engagement: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory updates in the passenger transport field, incorporating relevant insights into training delivery.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning through training programs, workshops, and other professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a relevant A1, TAQA, CAVA, or D32/33 qualification, along with a teaching or training certification. A proven history of delivering high-quality training and assessment in a vocational education setting is essential.

Additional Skills:
Experience in supporting the delivery and assessment of functional skills in Mathematics and English is preferred.
