Desired Criteria

  • Own transport and live within reasonable distance of the place of work.
  • Knowledge of the bus industry and an understanding of bus regulations.
  • A clear understanding of what constitutes excellent customer service.
  • NVQ in Road Passenger Transport.
  • Customer Service Training.
  • NVQ in Customer Care.
  • Advanced Driver training Certificate.
  • Professional driving experience.
  • Experience of interacting with customers.
  • Knowledge of the geographical operating area.
  • An accident-free record over the last 12 months.

Required Criteria

  • Valid current UK (or acceptable other) driver's license.
  • No more than 3 penalty points on your driving record.
  • A good understanding of written and spoken English.
  • Strong numerical skills (able to add and subtract cash accurately).
  • Proven eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Ability to provide suitable references.
  • Ability to prove your identity.
  • Valid Current Person PCO certificate.
  • Basic secondary school education or equivalent.
  • Willingness to undertake training such as NVQ as required.
  • Ability to drive a vehicle safely and competently.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills using English Language to ESOL entry level 2.
  • Physical capability to carry out the role effectively.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Pass medical requirements.
  • Must pass an enhanced CRB check.
  • Must pass alcohol and drugs screening as per company policy.
