Position Overview: The Health, Safety, and Compliance Manager plays a crucial role in establishing, executing, and overseeing health, safety, and compliance initiatives throughout the Pareto Facilities Management operations. This position is essential for ensuring compliance with legal standards, industry regulations, and client requirements, thereby reducing risks and improving operational performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and sustain quality and compliance management frameworks, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs), customized for the Pareto Facilities Management context.
  • Perform routine audits and assessments to verify adherence to legal obligations, organizational policies, and leading industry practices.
  • Serve as the main contact for any matters concerning health, safety, and compliance.
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure comprehensive training on safety measures, legal standards, and company protocols.
  • Create comprehensive audit documentation and suggest corrective measures to rectify non-compliance or enhance processes.
  • Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with health, safety, and compliance, providing regular reports to upper management.
  • Keep informed about updates in health and safety legislation, ensuring that the organization’s policies remain relevant and effective.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a health, safety, and compliance capacity, ideally within the facilities management or construction sectors.
  • In-depth understanding of ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing audits and establishing compliance frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and training abilities, capable of engaging personnel at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
