About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Branch Assistant to join our team at National Plastics - SBD. As a key member of our trade counter team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization within the trade counter area and warehouse, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assist with health and safety compliance, adhering to company policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Contribute to the achievement of branch performance targets, working closely with the Branch Manager and team to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide cover in the branch when required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements
  • A friendly, welcoming attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • A can-do/will-do attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • A full valid driving license, with a preference for previous experience in a driving role.
  • Good organizational skills and IT literacy, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a trade counter environment is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
