Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team at Right People. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial support and guidance to our organization, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including management accounts, statutory accounts, and departmental accounts.
  • Oversee the month-end close process for nominated companies, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage the Treasury function, including banking matters, cash flow forecasting, and analysis.
  • Ensure tax and payroll compliance in all geographical areas, providing tax advice and liaising with external tax advisors.
  • Oversee reports and returns to regulatory authorities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist the Financial Controller in completing the annual Group audit and other audits as necessary.
  • Develop and implement financial ethics and compliance procedures and processes, assisting in the development of an internal audit function.
  • Support the organization's goals of profit maximization and reduction in funding requirements, and other commercial risk.
  • Collaborate with the IT function to identify and implement efficiency opportunities.
  • Raise the profile of the Finance department within the organization, ensuring it is motivated, professional, and respected throughout the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred).
  • 1 year of experience in accounting (preferred).
