Role Summary

In this role, you will oversee the comprehensive employee relations case management for our organization, ensuring adherence to best practices while effectively handling a range of mid to complex cases. Your focus will be on mitigating risks and fostering a respectful workplace environment that aligns with organizational objectives.

Your expertise will be crucial in guiding both individual managers and providing strategic advice to senior leadership, ensuring that all actions taken are in the best interest of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address and resolve intricate employee relations challenges, including grievances and disciplinary matters, while offering support to management in these processes.
  • Deliver consistent and reliable advice to HR Business Partners and management on employee relations issues, ensuring equitable and uniform application of HR policies.
  • Lead significant employee relations initiatives within the organization.
  • Formulate HR policies in accordance with industry best practices, ensuring effective implementation across the organization.
  • Maintain and manage relationships with external legal advisors.
  • Support and/or lead organizational transformation efforts, including consultations related to workforce changes and senior-level transitions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing employee relations casework within a multi-site environment.
  • Experience in overseeing redundancy processes, both small and large scale.
  • Ability to draft clear and concise HR policies in line with current legislation.
  • Proactive approach to managing cases, with a focus on driving resolutions.
  • Exceptional writing and drafting capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
