Gleeson Recruitment Group is currently working with a Business Services Organisation in Coventry to find a skilled Cash/Banking Assistant to join their team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and allocate payments, including BACS, CHAPS, Cheques, and Direct Debits
  • Handle allocation queries and ensure all controls are maintained
  • Perform daily bank journals and reconciliation, as well as centre banking reconciliation
  • Process payments and reconcile transactions
  • Respond to queries from centres and other departments

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in bank reconciliations and cash management
  • Intermediate Excel skills and ability to identify issues and use initiative to solve problems
  • Excellent communication skills and a self-motivated team player with a willingness to help others
  • Discretion when dealing with confidential information
