Job Title: Catering Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Catering Assistant to join our team at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our visitors have a memorable experience at our Brandon Marsh Visitors Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks to customers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the catering team to achieve sales targets and provide a high-quality customer experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in food preparation, customer service, and cash handling.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a food service or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and handling, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
