Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Housing Officer to join our team on a bank basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and habitability of allocated hotels, as well as providing support to service users and liaising with third parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure allocated hotels are safe, habitable, and fully equipped
  • Support service users with their requirements and provide a designated point of contact
  • Liaise with hotels and other third parties to ensure smooth operations
  • Administer operational cash and manage conflicts
  • Respond to service user requests, complaints, and medical requests
  • Report breaches of terms and conditions and property faults
  • Work with transportation teams to ensure service users are available for dispersal and relocation

Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal skills and experience of dealing with people on a face-to-face basis
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to tight timescales
  • Ability to administer operational cash and manage conflicts
  • Ability to respond to service user requests and complaints
