We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Accommodation Officer. As a key member of our housing and homeless service, you will play a vital role in increasing the capacity of the private rented sector and preventing homelessness in Coventry.
Key Responsibilities- Build relationships with private landlords to secure accommodation for homeless households
- Work with colleagues to increase the supply of PRS accommodation and match it to households in temporary accommodation
- Provide case management and support to homeless households in temporary accommodation, including tenancy management, rent collection, and move-on to more permanent accommodation
- Develop and implement creative solutions to address homelessness and housing needs in Coventry
- Highly motivated and driven individual with a strong commitment to helping people overcome homelessness
- Strong negotiating and advocacy skills, with the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
- Resilience and determination to achieve the right outcomes for homeless people and families
