Manufacturing Process Optimizer

About the Role:
As a Manufacturing Engineer at Yunex Traffic, you will be responsible for leading the introduction of new products, determining efficient methods, and guiding the design/production team. You will also conduct structured problem-solving for production-related issues, participate in cost reduction exercises, and introduce new processes, techniques, and tooling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the introduction of new products, determining efficient methods and guiding the design/production team.
- Conduct structured problem-solving for production-related issues.
- Participate in cost reduction exercises and introduce new processes, techniques, and tooling.
- Provide training and guidance to other operators on production-related topics.
- Act as the primary interface between manufacturing and other business functions.
- Encourage and support the best use of business resources to achieve objectives.
- Generate estimates, control, and monitor costs for job functions.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- Take an active role in Health and Safety matters.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis activities.
- Identify and implement new manufacturing techniques.
- Analyse and plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment placement to maximise manufacturing efficiency.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair services to keep production equipment operational.
- Advise the Engineering team on Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
- Perform any other duties reasonably requested within the role's scope.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer who is passionate about innovation and process optimization. You will have a strong understanding of modern manufacturing practices and processes, as well as experience in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. You will also have excellent teamwork skills, effective communication, and high team morale.
