About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Optimizer to join our team at Rubicon Recruitment Agency. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the introduction of new products, ensuring efficient production methods and providing guidance to cross-functional teams.
  • Implement structured problem-solving techniques to resolve production-related challenges and improve overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement cost reduction initiatives and innovative processes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to operators on production procedures and best practices.
  • Prepare and manage estimates and costs related to job functions.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal colleagues and external partners to drive business growth.
  • Participate in Health and Safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis efforts to identify and address underlying issues.
  • Identify and implement advanced manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyze and plan workflow, space utilization, and equipment placement to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure production equipment remains operational.
  • Provide Design for Manufacturing (DfM) advice to the Engineering team.
Requirements
  • Experience with modern manufacturing processes and Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Ability to demonstrate achievements of improving processes and quality within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work alongside a range of disciplines and promote a positive team environment.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing concurrent and often competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks is beneficial.
