About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the Kent Autistic Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and related difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and related difficulties.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Support individuals to participate in activities and hobbies that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure that the needs of the individuals we support are met.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and related difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Manual driving license (essential).
