Casual Support Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Casual Support Worker to join our team at the Kent Autistic Trust. As a Casual Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and related difficulties.

About the Role:

As a Casual Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to individuals in their daily lives, including assisting with personal care, medication administration, and household management tasks. You will also be required to work with individuals who may display challenging behaviors and provide a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and related difficulties
  • Assisting with personal care and medication administration
  • Household management tasks, including cooking and cleaning
  • Working with individuals who may display challenging behaviors
  • Providing a safe and supportive environment

Requirements:

  • Manual driving license (essential)
  • Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve
  • Understanding of individual abilities and support needs
  • Commitment to promoting independence and choice
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
